It was about a week before Valentine's Day when I spotted a Crocs outlet at Queensbay Mall, Penang. It was still being renovated,but it was a sign that I had to get a pair of Crocs for my wife. I waited until the eve of Valentine's Day and to my delight, the shop was open. I got my wife a pair of Crocs, and the staff there were friendly and helpful. And I even got a few freebies since it was also Chinese New Year, and being their first customer. My wife loves her Crocs and a day later, I got a pair for myself. So if you happen to see a couple wearing brightly coloured Crocs Penang, it could be us!

The very first time I saw Crocs was on the Oprah Show. It's the one where Oprah interviewd Faith Hill & her husband. My very first thought was that the shoes look funny, look bulky. When I tried it on, it confirmed my suspicions but I still fell in love with it. It's light, colourful and it's airy. So, I bought myself 2 pair of Crocs - a red (which is a MUST) and an orange one. The first time I walked in my office with my red Crocs on, everyone stared at my feet. But now, I see a lot of my office mates sporting a pair on their feet. Just yesterday, I bought my third pair - a burgundy Mary Jane Crocs. Now I'm more in love with my Crocs then ever!

I doubted Crocs at first but I felt in love with it eventually after trying a pair out. I just came back from Mount Kinabalu one and a half weeks ago. You guess it! I wore Beach Crocs all the way from Timpohon Gate to Low's Peak (Mount Kinabalu's highest peak) at 4,095m. I'm so proud of myself and Crocs. ;)
