The official Land Rover owners’ club, The Coterie, recently organised an overnight camping event at the Riverstone Eco-Resort at Ulu Yam, Selangor, from August 19-20, 2006. Located a mere 20 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur city centre, the resort offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. About 70 happy campers comprising Land Rover owners and their families enjoyed fun-filled activities such as the flying fox, abseiling, bamboo raft construction and race, and frolicking in the cool and clear jungle stream. The children, in particular, thoroughly enjoyed these outdoor activities, many for the first time. At the campfire and BBQ dinner in the evening, members of the winning ‘tribe’ were delighted to know that they each won a pair of CROCS Beach, courtesy of CROCS Asia Pte Ltd. Dr Azlan Leong and his family from Malacca had come shod in brand new CROCS, purchased from Parkson specifically for the trip. “These shoes are simply perfect for the outdoors!
